Big congrats to our friends at Salorix for launching their Amplify social media platform today. What is Amplify? It’s a social media management system designed to analyze millions of social conversations to find out which ones you (the brand) should care about.
This is not easy to do.
Especially since over 90% of these conversations are happening outside of brand-controlled properties (this is what the CEO of Salorix told us). It’s also what makes the whole “big data meets social media” thing really hard.
So, what conversations should big brands care about?
The most influential ones of course! And that’s what the Amplify platform helps with identifying by using proprietary machine learning algorithms (that get smarter over time).
But wait there’s more.
The platform also gives insight into how best to “influence the influencers” such that they are more likely to share your brand message with their social networks. Powerful stuff.
This is why the Salorix team named the platform: Amplify (get it?).
