Whether you’re embracing the hype or still waiting to see how things evolve, there’s no question the “Internet of Things” has become a reality. As a matter of fact, Gartner forecasts that there will be 8.4 billion connected things in use worldwide by the end of this year.
Of course, as with every new technology wave, there are those on the front lines shaping the discussion, influencing decision making, and charting the course for what IoT will mean in the not-too-distant future.
But who are these people and what’s influencing their own perspective on the Internet of Things? And how can you tap into the mindset of IoT leaders at such companies like Amazon, GE, Honeywell, Nielsen, and Samsung who are designing the products, services, and technologies that make it possible to deliver IoT experiences?
With these questions in mind, we collaborated with Altitude, a design and innovation consulting firm recently acquired by Accenture, to identify and analyze IoT futurists, evangelists, designers, and engineers for a timely social insights report: 40 Internet of Things Leaders to Connect with on Social Media.
This report reveals what IoT leaders are talking about on social media, what they read and share, and the people and publications influencing these big-thinking practitioners.
